Pembroke Magazine is a respected literary magazine, published yearly by the
University of North Carolina at Pembroke and The NC Arts Council, and edited
by Dr. Shelby D. Stephenson (Shelby.Stephenson_at_uncp.edu). It accepts
poetry, fiction, and interviews; the magazine often focuses on specific
writers or topics, such as Native American Literature (2006), William Harmon
(2005), Chris Fuhrman (2004), and Jill McCorkle (2002).

For more information, please visit our website at
www.uncp.edu/pembrokemagazine/. The best way to get a sense of our unique
magazine is to read through several issues. Back issues are available
through the Managing Editor, Tina Emanuel (tina.emanuel_at_uncp.edu).

Although you do not need to subscribe to the magazine to submit your work,
we have also attached a copy of our journal's subscription form
http://www.uncp.edu/pembrokemagazine/Subscribe.htm. We invite you to
subscribe even if you do not intend to submit any of your work at this time.

We look forward to working with all of you in the near future, and we wish
you much luck in your pursuits.
