This is an open Call for Papers for the Seventh Annual International
Gatherings in Biosemiotics, to be held on June 6-9, 2007 at the
University of Groningen, Netherlands.

The Scientific Advisory Committee of the Seventh Annual Gatherings in
Biosemiotics welcomes paper proposals from any academic discipline
investigating the real-world use of sign processes among or within
living organisms (including humans!). More information regarding the
kind of papers that we are looking for and the kind of
interdisciplinary work that is going on in Biosemiotics can be found
here: www.biosemiotics.org

To submit a proposal, interested parties should e-mail to the address
below: (1) an abstract of between 250-500 words (absolutely no more);
as well as (2) an extremely abbreviated CV, including your current
professional / institutional affiliation and listing your most recent
or relevant publications (maximum length: 1 page).

Proposals should be sent as single two-page word-processing
attachments (.doc or .rtf only) to: Gatherings2007_at_biosemiotics.org

The final deadline for submissions is March 15, 2007.
