in the digital era; the lettered city and the global community;
literature, semiotics and cybernetics; language, literature and community
during the internet era; technologies for writing throughout the Western
world; Writing, technologies and contemporary social movements; Writing,
orality and visual culture; and, Literature and the editorial industry.

Proposals for papers due by: 2nd of November, 2007
Papers can be in English, Spanish or French, and should be 8-10 pages
long for 20 minute presentations.
