UPDATE: [Cultural-Historical] Environmental Writers' Conference in honor of Rachel Carson
The Fifth Environmental Writers' Conference in honor of Rachel Carson will
be held once again at The Spruce Point Inn, Boothbay Harbor, Maine, June 10
- 13, 2008.
With her latest foray into non-fiction (Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, 2007)
as well as twelve books of fiction, poetry and non-fiction, Kingsolver
provides fertile ground for scholarly and critical analysis. Interested
participants should send an abstract and brief bio as a Word attachment or
in the text of e-mail to: Marcia Littenberg
marcia.littenberg_at_farmingdale.edu by February 1, 2008. Participants will
need to register for the 2008 Conference. See http://www.new-cure.org.
Presentations limited to 15 minutes to allow time for discussion.
