Everyone's a little bit obsessive; academics are usually more than a
little. But what consitutes our obsessions and what work do they do? What
is the relation between obsession and knowledge production; and what
about less legitimate obsessions, the things, places, people and cultural
forms about which we feel excessive love or hate?

fractured perceptions." In this interdisciplinary conference, we

A forum for undergraduate and graduate essays and book reviews relating to
the Jewish experience in Canada .

The Student Journal of Canadian Jewish Studies is an exciting new
initiative in the field of Canadian Jewish Studies. This student web-based
journal, supported by the Concordia Institute for Canadian Jewish Studies
provides an excellent opportunity for students to publish work in an
academic context.

The journal will be published in March 2008.
