The Faulkner Society (ALA 2008)
Calls for papers for two panels at the American Literature Association
Conference in San Francisco (May 22-25, 2008).
We encourage submissions of 250 word abstracts for individual papers or
proposals of entire panels on open topics for either conference.
Deadline for ALA submissions: January 15, 2008. Proposals should be sent
to John T. Matthews, President, The Faulkner Society, Boston University,
Department of English, 236 Bay State Road, Boston, MA 02215 or
jtmattws_at_bu.edu. Electronic submissions preferred.
In addition to unrestricted proposals, we are interested in papers or
panels that might address the following topics:
The Humanities Review, a publication of the St. John’s University English Department, features
essays, books reviews, and interviews. We occasionally invite fiction and poetry submissions as
well. 

The editorial board invites submissions for publication for our Spring 2008 issue. Deadline is
February 1, 2008.
