Contributors are invited to submit critical works on how landscapes and
alternative planes (waterscapes, moonscapes) are constructed, impacted,
and impact. How have new technologies influenced and changed how
terrains and landscapes are viewed? What sort of impact do changing
terrains have on inhabitants emotionally, culturally, racially, sexually,
and theoretically?
 
Potential Topics Include:
terrain construction development and impact
terrain and memoir
terrain and community
literary landscapes and environments
landscapes and cultural conventions.
terrain and psychological trauma
terrain and sexual, gender, ethnic, and racial borders

Abstracts of 250-300 words should be emailed to
alan.lovegreen_at_email.ucr.edu by February 15, 2008 (text in the body of
the message; please no attachments).
