CFP: [Medieval] Medieval and Renaissance Drama panel for (dis)junctions graduate conference
Contributors are invited to submit critical works on any drama from
medieval or early modern Britain. These papers may include a variety
of subjects, but some possible areas of interest include:
• Performativity and performance theory
• Anachronism and historical representation
• Metadrama
• Drama and material culture (costumes, props, stages)
• Tudor drama and the transition from "pre-modern" to "early modern"
• Professionalization of the theater
• Renaissance (mis)interpretations of the medieval
