UPDATE: [Collections] Animals in Human Signification (06/30/08; collection)

College English Association - Caribbean Chapter

The College English Association Caribbean Chapter has put together a
volume of essays based on the theme of its Spring 2007 conference, "Of
Mice and Men: Animals in Human Signification." To round out the
collection, we are seeking an additional two papers that address the topic
of human representation of animals in literature, art and the media (as
well as in other channels and modes of human representation) specifically
in Eastern and/or African cultures.
Papers should be between 3000 and 10,000 words (excluding Works Cited),
use the font Times Roman 12 cpi, follow MLA format, and be sent to
cea_caribbeanchapter_at_hotmail.com in MS Word format by 30 June 2008 with
the subject line "Of Mice and Men: Asian/African"
