are soliciting proposals for short essays on each of the following:

Michel Régnier -- the most prolific filmmaker in the Société nouvelle
programme, Régnier addressed a number of issues in his work,
including health and social welfare, community organization, and
urban development

The Working Mothers Series -- a series of 11 short films produced by
Kathleen Shannon about women from various backgrounds and the ways in
which they balance children, homemaking, and working outside the home

Essays can be submitted in English or French. Please direct
