CALL for PAPERS
for a collection of critical articles on the work of
Diana Abu-Jaber
Edited by: Ibis Gómez-Vega & Deborah DeRosa
We are soliciting articles on Diana Abu-Jaber’s work, including her fiction
and non-fiction. We are particularly interested in examining how her work
fits within the American literary tradition.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
All work must be in Microsoft Word and double-spaced. It must also adhere
to the Modern Language Association (MLA) style guidelines. Papers should
be 15-25 pages long.
DEADLINE for ABSTRACTS: December 20, 2008
Writers may send their abstracts electronically to Ibis_at_niu.edu
I would like to have the abstracts soon in order to search for a publisher.
DEADLINE for COMPLETED ARTICLES: March 2009
Completed pieces should be sent through traditional slow mail, but can also
be submitted electronically.
Submissions must include a cover page with the title of the article, the
writer’s name, address, day and evening telephone numbers, and E-mail address.
Please send two copies of the article to:
