MUSIC THEORY AND ANALYSIS is an annual conference organized by the
Department of Music Theory, Faculty of Music, University of Arts in
Belgrade. The 2009 conference will consist of two segments. One addresses
a broad range of issues around the following thematic circles:
• Concepts and methods of music theory and analysis
• History of music theory
• Specific problems and tendencies in music analysis (including the
analysis of polyphonic music, harmonic analysis, analysis of style, vocal
music)
• Music analysis and historical context
The other focuses on the subject of Music Theory and Narrativity.
