This panel seeks to explore cinematic representations of female itinerancy: women as vagabonds, flaneurs, tramps, nomads, drifters, seekers, pilgrims, or picaros. What is the symbolic valence of such images? How have films reimagined literary, social, or historical tropes of female "wandering"?
