Special Issue: Flann O'Brien (Guest Editors: Keith Hopper and Neil Murphy)
This conference incorporates discussion of curriculum, methodology, and assessment of the world literature course. Suggestions for topics include: the "arena" of the world literature classroom (increased class size, hybrid, or online classes); teaching the "world" in world literature (what texts? how many?); world literature as an important general education course (how do we approach teaching this course as a foundation for university level education? Other topics on perspectives and pedagogy are most welcome. Submit a proposal (400 words) to Dr. Khalil Elayan (kelayan@kennesaw.edu) and Denise White (dwhite@kennesaw.edu).

This edited collection, Transnational Writing Program Administration, aims to focus wide-spread disciplinary attention to the issues of transnational writing program administration. The number of US based colleges and universities that have established relationships with internationally-based universities has increased significantly since the late 1990s. In February, 2008, the New York Times presented a Global Classrooms series beginning with the article, "U.S. Universities Rush to Set Up Outposts Abroad." Fourteen higher education institutions were mentioned as having established or begun talks to establish international branch campuses.
