SWTX PCA/ACA 34th Annual Conference
February 13-16, 2013

Hyatt Regency Hotel and Conference Center
Albuquerque, New Mexico

Join us this year, as a returning or first-time participant, in the Adaptation area, a long-standing, well-represented area with a history of excellent presentations.

The Adaptation area this year encompasses traditional approaches to adaptation, including

Adaptation Theory
Novel to Film Adaptation
Novel to TV, TV to Film, or Film to TV Adaptations
Genre Adaptation (homage, parody, etc)
Stage to Screen Adaptation (Excluding Shakespeare)
Film Remakes (Dredd, Total Recall, The Amazing Spiderman, Red Dawn, etc)
Games, Songs, Cartoons, Graphic Novels, and Comic Books to Film Adaptation

Special Topics this year include

Sherlock Holmes Adaptations (Guy Ritchie, BBC, CBS, etc.)
The Hobbit
On the Road
