Papers on all aspects of literature, composition & rhetoric, and pedagogy are welcome. Papers on the focus thread of College Core curricula, College Readiness, and New York's newly instituted and controversial Common Core are especially requested.

Core Standards

The NYCEA conference will be overlapping on Friday 10-24 with the "Connections" conference for area high school faculty. Two roundtables are being planned by NYCEA for Friday on the topics of "College readiness and the First-Year Experience" and "Do Common Core Standards match College Cores?" Saturday's sessions will be panels comprised of 15-minute presentations.
