The College English Association, a gathering of scholar-teachers in English studies, welcomes proposals for presentations for our 46th annual conference.

The 2015 theme is Imaginations and CEA invites papers and panels that will ask all of us to momentarily put away our smart phones, laptops, tablets, etc., so that we can refocus our energies on the wonders of our imaginations to consider the following questions: In what ways can we encourage our institutions, colleagues, students, and even ourselves to find meaning in using our imaginations for self-reflection and creative output? And how can we use those introspective moments, broadly speaking, to help us to become better teachers?

The special panel chair for Book History welcomes proposals for papers and panels addressing the following topics:
• Composition, publication, and reception histories
• Bibliography
• Textual criticism
• Print culture
• BH on a budget (what to do when you don't have a rare book room)
• BH in the classroom (teaching methodologies, curriculum development, collaboration, etc.)
• BH centers (supporting research, consulting services, teaching faculty/students, etc.)
• The Future of Book History
Please submit your paper title and abstract (200-500 words) to by 1 November 2014.
