full name / name of organization:
Southern Arkansas University

Undergraduate students from all disciplines are invited to submit 250-word abstracts of scholarly papers or excerpts of creative writing projects to be considered for presentation or inclusion in a poster session at the second Mid-South Undergraduate Research Conference, hosted by Southern Arkansas University. Abstracts for scientific papers should include no more than one figure or picture. Students are encouraged to submit work in keeping with the theme "The Challenges of Change," but all topics will be considered. Presentations must be 12-15 minutes long. Posters must be no larger than 48" wide by 48" high.

New This Year! You've heard of Shark Tank. We do things differently at SAU, home of the Muleriders. We invite developing entrepreneurs, game designers, and others with products to pitch to submit a 350 word summary of your pitch and description of your product. The best pitches and products will be selected to enter the Mule Barn and face our distinguished panel of Mulerider Judges. Your challenge will be to convince the judges that your product has what it takes to make it in the marketplace. The pitches and products deemed most likely to be successful will be awarded prizes.

Review of proposals for paper, posters, and Mule Barn pitches will continue until the end of January. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by February 10.
