[UPDATE] – 8th International Conference "Word, Utterance, Text" – Registration deadline extended till 09/15/15
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite the academic community to attend the 8th International Conference "Word, Utterance, Text: Cognitive, Pragmatic and Cultural Aspects", which will be held on April 20-22, 2016 at Chelyabinsk State University (Chelyabinsk, Russia).
We welcome the submission of research papers related to the following topics:
–Innovative approaches to language studies in the XXI century.
–Linguistic image of the world and cross-cultural communication.
–Discourse as the object of interdisciplinary research.
–Current issues in translation and interpreting studies.
–Current issues in language education.
The official languages of the conference are Russian and English.
Conference session formats
–plenary session (30 min per presentation)
–thematic paper session (10 min per presentation)
–poster presentation
–workshop
If you are not able to attend the conference in person, you can register as in absentia. Papers presented in absentia are eligible to be included in the conference proceedings.
Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings which will be indexed in RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index) and will be available in the Scientific Electronic Library (www.elibrary.ru).
The electronic version of the conference proceedings, as well as the conference program will be available on the conference website.
All authors will receive printed versions of the conference proceedings (1 copy per author), as well as the certificates of participation. The conference proceedings will be sent to authors after the conference.
