Panel 2: James Fenimore Cooper and Visual Culture
The works of James Fenimore Cooper have inspired a rich legacy of adaptation and inspiration. Through painting, illustrated books, film, and various graphic media, the representations of Cooper's tales and characters span the full spectrum of popular culture and the visual imagination.
