Fair Unknown Award
Arthuriana would like to extend a call for submissions for the Fair Unknown Award for best paper on an Arthurian topic presented by a graduate student at the International Medieval Congress at Kalamazoo.
Designed to recognize and support the academic contributions of graduate students, the Fair Unknown award is given to the best paper on an Arthurian subject presented at the annual Congress in Kalamazoo. To be considered, conference papers must be submitted to the committee in their original presentation form. The only editing/revising that is permitted between presentation and submission is the correction of typographical errors. Once the committee makes its selection, the editorial staff of the journal Arthuriana works with the graduate student scholar to revise the presentation into a publishable article. The winner will have to join the International Arthurian Society if not already a member.
Submissions are due by June 5, 2016. Submissions should be sent to camelot@purdue.edu. Please include “Fair Unknown submission” in your subject line.
Please pass the call for submissions along to graduate students.
