Adaptation Studies is a growing field of research that addresses a significant subset of the intersection of film and literature, in which, as Maureen Quinn puts it, literature and film are studied as "two interdependent partial texts that become a new whole." This session invites papers that explore the many facets of adaptation studies, including literature adapted to film, film to video games, and film to textual works. Papers that engage some aspect of the conference theme of "Archives, Properties, Libraries" are especially welcome.

To submit a paper proposal for this session, or one of the many other approved PAMLA sessions, please go to: http://www.pamla.org/2016/topic-areas

Proposals are due by Friday, June 10.

The PAMLA conference 2016 will be held over the 11-13 November 2016 weekend at the Westin Pasadena, CA.
