Call for Proposals/ NeMLA 2017
Printing Latin America: The Literary and Cultural Review of the 20th Century.
Literary and cultural reviews like “Crisol”, “Amauta”, “Repertorio Americano”, “Revista Bimestre Cubana”, “Sur”, “Revista Americana de Buenos Aires”, among others, helped to define their own national debates while also establishing spaces for the possibility of thinking "Latin America" as a whole cultural and political project.
This panel seeks innovative approaches to reviews, journals, newspapers, and other periodical texts that linked different intellectual and cultural collaborations during Latin America’s twentieth century. Presentations may be in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Papers that explore the material conditions, exchanges, collaborations and cultural networks between writers and editors are encouraged to participate.
The due date has been extended until Friday, October 7th
Please send 300-word proposal by September 30 to:

Thank you so much for your time and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
