37th Cincinnati Conference on Romance
Languages and Literatures
March 31st – April 1st 2017

Faculty and graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for papers dealing with all areas and aspects of Romance Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. Proposals on Film, Popular Culture, Cultural Studies, Creative Writing, Digital Humanities, and non-canonical approaches to literature are especially welcome.
In order to open a dialogue with this year’s keynote speakers’ works we encourage the submission of abstracts on the topics of Introspective Construction of Identities and Detective Fiction.
Individual presentations will be limited to 20 minutes and they will be accepted in English, Spanish, and French. Papers, however, can cover topics related to any Romance languages. For consideration, please submit an abstract or panel proposal including:
-Name of presenter / panel coordinator.
-Academic affiliaton of the presenter(s).
-Email address.
-Title of paper and an abstract, no longer than 250 words, in the language the paper will be presented.
-If proposing a panel: title of panel and all the papers to be presented in it, with their corresponding abstracts, each of them no longer than 250 words. The number of panelists is at the discretion of the organizers; however, keep in mind that CCRLL cannot guarantee a time frame longer than 90 minutes per panel.
