ABC-Clio intends to publish a two-volume reference collection in 2018 titled Conspiracies and Conspiracy Theories in American History. The editors seek contributors from fields of history, political science, literature, sociology, communication, and related subjects to write entries in the range of 750-2500 words on a wide variety of conspiracy-related topics.

This resource includes thematic essays on conspiracies and conspiracy theories in politics, business, popular culture, espionage, and the military, and includes an array of illustrations, sidebars, and up-to-date suggestions for further reading. The main entries provide coverage of historical figures, groups, institutions, and conspiracy narratives, including timely content drawn from the internet and other media.

Contributors will receive publication credit in the encyclopedia and may choose from several options for other compensation.  The editors will send information about compensation upon request.

The project works on rolling deadlines for submission.
