Submit an Abstract to the University of Manitoba's annual Native Studies Graduate Students Conference (March 9th, 10th): Rising Up

“Rising Up: A Graduate Student Conference on Indigenous Knowledge and Research in Indigenous Studies” will be an academic gathering that gives Graduate students the spotlight and allows them to present their work while connecting with other researchers. The conference is interdisciplinary, and attracts students and researchers who are working on a wide range of topics in the Indigenous/Native Studies field.

Our UM-NSGSA Review Committee is currently looking for proposals, and we welcome your submission! Please send an abstract before December 29th, 2017 online via www.risingup.online

Title: 120 character limit

Abstract: 250 words
Include: Authors first and last name, university, program or department, and email address

Conference takes place March 9th-10th, 2018 on the Fort Garry Campus,(220-224 UMSU University Centre).

Our Keynote Speakers will be: Adam Gaudry, University of Alberta and Chantal Fiola, University of Winnipeg

It is a free event, open to all.
