Prospective speakers are invited to submit abstracts of 300 words for 20-minute papers, panels, or sessions; 100 words for flash papers or poster presentations. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

Queer Sinophone Cultures 2

Following the publication of Queer Sinophone Cultures (2013), both queer studies and Sinophone studies have envisioned a more globally expansive and culturally diverse research agenda. An increasing number of scholars—young and established—have begun to situate their work in dialogue with the intersections of these two rapidly growing fields. We seek to bring together and showcase this new vibrant wave of scholarship, with the aim of consolidating queer Sinophone studies as an inclusive protocol to further transnational inquiries into the pressing status of non-conforming genders, sexualities, and bodies.
