Submission guidelines

Please submit your essay electronically (a Word document, double-spaced), including a 150-word abstract and up to 6 keywords, via the Brill/KRON website at http://www.editorialmanager.com/KRON by 1 March 2019. At the website, you will be asked to register with your name, email address, and the names and contact details of three potential referees who can offer a fair evaluation of your work. We may or may not draw upon these referees. For the external review process, submissions will be evaluated double-blind, so please strip your article of identifiers of authorship. You are responsible for obtaining any permission to reproduce copyrighted material; black and white pictures may be included. Please begin working on obtaining any permissions right away; the process can be a lengthy one.

Following peer-review, 5-7 papers will be selected for publication in KronoScope 19.2, to appear in Autumn/Fall 2019. The selection criteria will be thematic focus, scholarly depth and originality, as well as accessibility/interest for a multidisciplinary readership of academics involved in the study of time. References and bibliography should be formatted according to The Chicago Manual of Style (16th edition). Either the Notes and Bibliography or Author-Date References style of documentation is acceptable.
