This panel welcomes submissions on any aspect of masculinities that have been left on the margins of mainstream literary narratives, pop culture, and scholarship, including but not limited to: race, class, and/or privilege; body integrity, aesthetics, age, and/or health; masculine relationships and roles; and sexuality. Proposals addressing the conference theme of “Languages: Power, Identity, and Relationships” are especially welcome.
