The 2019 PAMLA Conference is being held over the November 14-17 weekend, in beautiful San Diego, California once again! Do consider joining us at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside hotel this year, and as many PAMLA attendees can attest, the conference itself is sure to be an incredibly enjoyable, friendly, and rigorous experience for scholars at all stages in their professional careers. At this time, you may now Submit a Proposal for the 2019 PAMLA Conference via our new conference and registration portal at https://pamla.ballastacademic.com/home/cfp. To submit an abstract, you will first need to Create a User Account. When you create your account, you'll be able to choose one of the many affiliations we have on file, or if your affiliation isn't available, choose "Not Listed" and then type your affiliation in.

Along with the many new sessions we have this year, we now offer multiple Session Formats and sessions are searchable via Subject Area (such as American, Asian, Film and Media Studies, and German). Our Conference Theme is "Send in the Clowns," but paper proposals not related to the theme are welcome.
