Dear all,

We live in quite challenging times, therefore we have decided to extend our submission deadline by 1 month, until November 1st, 2020! HyperCultura, http://litere.hyperion.ro/hypercultura/ encourages, though not imposing, a comparative approach on the following areas: literature (print and hypertext), (not classic literature), media studies, film studies, visual and performative arts, teaching (all of the above). Subjects such as Postcolonialism-Decolonization, Gender Studies, etc, are welcome if they analyze one of the above mentioned area. (eg, Postcolonialism applied to a book, a film, etc).

We only receive original articles, not already published, not under simultaneous review at any other publication.

We also receive a limited number of book reviews, of titles published no earlier than three years prior to the year of the publication of this volume.

Both the articles and the book reviews must be in English (USA). Articles must be analytic, they must be between 3500-8000 words, and follow the MLA 8th Edition. Book reviews must be ~1500 words. Abstracts must be 150-200 words.

Papers will be first scanned for plagiarism, then sent to double-blind peer-review. We hope to give you an acceptance/rejection answer in a maximum of 3 months since the day we receive your article.

The journal will be due March-April 2021.

Please visit our Guidelines for Authors.

We are also looking for reviewers for the above mentioned areas. If interested, please visit our For reviewers section, http://litere.hyperion.ro/hypercultura/menu_item_peer-review/ and send us your CV (and a sample of your own writing).

We are CEEOL, Ulrichsweb, MLA Directory of Periodicals, DOAJ, ERIH PLUS, and EBSCO (in the uploading process)

Thank you for reading this email, and for forwarding it! Wishing you the very best and looking forward to hearing from you,

Sorina Georgescu, Editor-in-Chief
