This special issue of Women's Studies: an interdisciplinary journal invites submissions of position papers on your (eco)materialist feminist practice/praxis in the context of:
the environmental humanities
the idea of the Anthropocene, Capitalocene, or ...
environmental thought/philosophy
race and nature
class and nature
sex/sexuality and nature
animal studies
This special issue seeks a diversity of feminist perspectives. Single or multidisciplinary position papers on any of the above topics are welcome.
Submissions: Please submit abstract proposals of 300 words and a short CV to Helena Feder (federh@ecu.edu ) by January 30, 2021; proposals should identify projected word length and framework of inquiry. Full position papers (capped at 3000 words) will be due for review by June 4, 2021. Formatting: all manuscripts must adhere to the most recent MLA formatting and citation guidelines (and spelling must follow American English). Any notes should appear as footnotes, not endnotes, and citation should be parenthetical in-text.
