Call for Session Proposals: 53rd Annual NeMLA Convention
The 53rd Northeast Modern Language Association Convention will take place March 10 to 13, 2022, in Baltimore, MD. We are delighted to announce that Valeria Luiselli, author of the prize-winning Lost Children Archive (the 2022 novel for “NeMLA Reads Together”), will give our opening address and that Professor Judith Butler, Maxine Elliot Professor in the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley, has graciously agreed to be our 2022 keynote. The conference will be sponsored and hosted by Johns Hopkins University in collaboration with NeMLA’s administrative host institution, the University at Buffalo. Please submit your session proposals by April 29, 2021, at cfplist.com/nemla. Abstract proposals will be accepted between June 15 and September 30, 2021.
