Practical Pandemic Instruction
Notes from the Field, a publication of the TPS Collective, is now accepting submissions about teaching with primary sources for two series of peer-reviewed blog posts: “Teaching through the Pandemic: Challenges, Triumphs, and the Next Chapter” and “Practical Pandemic Instruction.” These series are intended to highlight a broad range of voices in reflective practice from all sectors of the TPS community.
Series Two: Practical Pandemic Instruction
In this series, we ask contributors to share practical classroom tools, techniques, and processes that they have honed over the past several months. Topics can include specific how-to tips for teaching virtually or in person, modifying lesson plans, learning and experimenting with new tools, and anything else community members have learned and want to share from their experiences in 2020 and 2021.
Contributions should be 700-1000 words and will be subject to Notes from the Field’s peer review process. Posts will be published on a rolling basis beginning in August 2021. Full submission information is available in the Notes from the Field author and peer review guidelines. Any questions, expressions of interest, or submissions can be sent to the Notes from the Field Lead Editor, Carly Sentieri, at email@example.com.
