INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON INNOVATIVE TRENDS IN CONTEMPORARY LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE RESEARCH: THEORIES, METHODS AND TECHNIQUES
“International Symposium on Innovative Trends in Contemporary Language and Literature Research: Theories, Methods and Techniques” will be held online on 15-16 October 2021 by the Department of German Language and Literature, hosted by Atatürk University.
In recent centuries and today, great importance has been attached to the development of study and research methods so that all branches of science can get accurate, efficient, and consistent information. As in other disciplines of science, research methods are also of great importance in literary studies in order to obtain accurate and sufficient information. Many social and intellectual disciplines, from history to sociology, from philosophy to psychology and literature, have begun to be evaluated within the scope of ‘science’. Since the 20th century, methodological studies have been included in these disciplines. Methodological studies based on literary science in Western literature required the development of some methods, theories and scientific research methods in addition to the existing system. The methodology has become widespread in both Western and World literature over time. The rapid and massive increase in scientific knowledge in recent years has paved the way for continuous development and innovation. Both literary science and literary theory offer a research area in the light of their unique interdisciplinary methods. The symposium aims to reveal the research methods of all branches of literary studies through the exchange and discussion of scientific, objective, comprehensive, qualified and innovative research. For this purpose, this symposium offers an opportunity for innovative research/researchers in the field of language and literature focusing on both Western and Eastern languages. All international research and presentations will be published in the proceedings book after the assessment process.
We would be honoured to see you esteemed scholars working on the topics of the symposium among us as participants.
