Poetrishy (poetrishy.org) is an ambitious laboratory for radical experiments with poetry, language modelling, and computation. It is a multilingual and multidisciplinary online space where experimental poetry drives new methods, ideas, and approaches in areas such as natural language processing and artificial intelligence.

We are seeking contributions for our second issue, to appear in Winter 2022. Submissions could take the form of poetry, videos, games, interactive apps, algorithms, articles, or other 'objects' that meets our equation: Poetrishy = poetry ⨂ maths. In mathematics, ⨂ is the symbol for convolution, a process whereby two functions, say ‘f’ and ‘g’, convolute to express a third function, ‘h’. Both ‘f’ and ‘g’ are modified by each other during the process.

Please visit https://www.poetrishy.org/menu/ to see our first issue, featuring new work by Augusto de Campos in collaboration with André Vallias, and to find a link to our open call. We publish in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Poetrishy is generously supported by the Bristol Digital Futures Institute at the University of Bristol, Bristol, UK.
