Call for Interdisciplinary Papers and/or Panels at the Sixteenth Century Studies Conference

As the new Interdisciplinary Track Director for the Sixteenth Century Studies Conference (SCSC), I invite individual papers or panel submissions for SCSC 2022, to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis, MN, October 27-30, 2022. The interdisciplinary track is not only for papers or panels with an interdisciplinary focus (a characteristic of many if not most papers delivered at SCSC), but also particularly for papers that would benefit from an audience of scholars from multiple disciplines, or from being paired with papers from multiple disciplines. We welcome fully-formed panels on matters related to the Sixteenth Century, interpreted broadly to include portions of each surrounding century. We also encourage individual paper proposals, and will also happily group them with other paper proposals submitted to the interdisciplinary track, or to other tracks, when appropriate. Proposals should be under 250 words, and each submission should be accompanied by a brief professional biography of the presenter.

Barring extraordinary circumstances, this conference will be held in person.

Please contact Jason Powell, SCSC Interdisciplinary Track Director, if you have questions: jpowell@sju.edu
