10th International Biennial Conference on American Studies
October 14- 15, 2022 Kutaisi, Georgia
Akaki Tsereteli State University in Kutaisi, Georgia will host a two-day international biennial multidisciplinary conference on American studies. The conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Temur Kobakhidze. It is organized by Prof. Vakhtang Amaglobeli Center for American Studies at Akaki Tsereteli State University, ATSU Foreign Affairs and Development Office and John Dos Passos Association of Georgia.
We invite a variety of contributions that address any of the following topics:

Social and Women's Issues
The event will be held in a hybrid format - papers can be presented both on-site and online.
Working Languages: Georgian and English
Proposals of 200 to 250 words must be sent to Prof. Irakli Tskhvediani at firstname.lastname@example.org by the 20th of July, 2022.
Style guides for papers:
The conference participants will be requested to submit their revised papers within two months after the end of the conference. All submissions should be in English and will go through a double blind peer review process. Selected papers will be published as a journal. Manuscripts should not ordinarily exceed fifteen standard pages (A4) including the abstract and the contributor's short bio. All papers must conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 15th Edition in all matters of form and should be typewritten in MS Word 2003. Use Times New Roman: 12 pts fonts for the main text and all additional parts except endnotes and index (where you should use 10pts), and chapter headings (where you should use 16pts). All text should be single-spaced.
Time Limit for Speakers: 15 minutes
Time Limit for Discussion: 5-7 minutes
Registration Fees: 50 Euro (including taxes).The registration fee will cover participation in the sessions and the publication expenses.
Fees should be paid by wire transfer to the conference bank account.
