Cadernos de Fraseoloxía Galega (CFG), an international journal on phraseological and paremiological research edited by Centro Ramón Piñeiro para a Investigación en Humanidades (Xunta de Galicia), is seeking submissions of contributions for its twenty-fourth issue. Even though the deadline is permanently open, only manuscripts received by October 24, 2022 will be considered for issue 24. 

CFG's aims are (1) to contribute to the phraseological debate, (2) to bring unpublished Galician phraseologal materials to light, and (3) to disseminate information about the most important events and publications about phraseology. Thus, this journal published: 

  1. Research articles: unpublished, original works with a theoretical or applied (translation, didactis, phraseography...) approach that deal with phraseology in any language. Recommended length: 40,000 characters. 
  2. Compilations: original compilations of Galician phraseology.
  3. Reviews: original critical reviews of recent works on phraseology or related matters. Recommended max. length: 20,000 characters.

All contributions must be submitted in editable form (Word, RTF or OpenOffice) to paremias@cirp.gal and comply with the journal's guidelines, which can be found at: https://www.cirp.gal/ms/cfg/en/directrices_autores.html. If a contribution has been written in a language other than Galician, the editorial team will provide a translation service into Galician free of charge.
