The Shakespeare on Film and Television area explores Shakespeare in a variety of media beyond the traditional stage, including film, television, anime, manga, and recent novelizations of the play.  We have previously had papers on the following topics and invite new ideas all the time.

• Anime, Manga, and animated Shakespeare
• Shakespeare on British Television
• Shakespeare and the genre film
• Slings and Arrows, Shakespeare on Canadian Television
• Transgressive Shakespeare
• Shakespeare, gender, and sexuality
• Shakespeare for the Classroom

Please submit a 250-word proposal and a brief CV.

All presenters must be current, paid members of the PCA and registered for the conference. Non-presenters who attend the full conference must also pay membership fees.

To attend the National Conference, members must pay the membership fee and the registration fee. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
