In addition to the Open Call for Papers, the Interdisciplinary Journal of Leadership Studies, with the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies, publishes a wide range of high-quality scholarship. We are currently accepting paper proposals that contemplate the relationship between leadership and the digital landscape and/or the future of education. More specifically, we invite papers that question the advantages, drawbacks, and ethics of artificial intelligence (e.g., chatbots, algorithms, etc.), social media, the singularity, implications of technology in the classroom, how educational pedagogy needs to shift to accommodate social and technological change, how educational administration should respond to our changing world, et al. What, we ask scholars to question, are the relationships between these forces and leadership? We invite papers that question these matters historically, presently, or perhaps, in the future. We welcome both collaborative and individual-based papers. Submissions must be received by September 1 for inclusion in the 2023 issue. Papers must be submitted using this online portal and follow the guidelines outlined at Submission Guidelines.
