This panel invites papers focusing on various aspects of Italian film history and contemporary film culture. 

Taking advantage of this year's theme, Shifting perspectives, some topics of particular interest could include, but are absolutely not limited to: 

• North vs. South (la questione meridionale, ecc)
• Inside vs. Outside (urban vs suburban space; in-groups vs outsiders, etc.)
• Cinema of Migration  /  Migrant Cinema
• Cinema focusing on environmental or agricultural changes/challenges 
• Feminist Cinema
• Queer Cinema 
• Censorship
