We are currently accepting submissions for the Renaissance Literature Excluding Drama panel taking place at the 2023 South Central Modern Language Association annual conference. The conference will be held in Corpus Christi, TX, on October 12-14. We welcome papers on any and all non-dramatic literary Renaissance works, including works from the English Renaissance/Early Modern period. From Machiavelli to Milton and Cervantes to Stanley, all works of poetry and prose are open for consideration. Neither the conference nor the panel have a theme, so we welcome papers with a wide range of topics. The deadline to submit abstracts is July 10, 2023. Please email your 250-word abstracts to chair Nicholas A. Brush. You may also contact the chair for more specific information prior to submission.
