Greetings.

As the editor of the digital edition of the Encyclopedia of Hispanic-American Literature (Facts on File), I'm inviting scholars to contribute essays of approximately 1500-2000 words on one of the authors listed below. The digital edition has been contracted with Facts on File and is a peer-reviewed volume scheduled to be published in 2025. Much of the volume is completed, with a few outstanding biographies that need to be assigned.

Essays of 1500-2000 words are due Septmember 30, 2024.  Contributors research, write and submit for peer review an essay on one of the authors listed below (a biography which indicates major publications, awards, life details, education, and literary impact). Essays should briefly reflect or acknowledge the historical roots of Hispanic-American literature.

  1. Lin-Manuel Miranda

  2. Hernan Diaz

  3. Reyna Grande

  4. Jaime Manrique

  5. Francisco Goldman

Please note:  The composition, peer review, copy editing, etc schedule is tight so timely submissions are important.

Compensation

Facts on File offers no compensation for contributions to this digital volume apart from access to the digital publication.

Please specify which author biography you would like to write by emailing me at hielena12@yahoo.com. Include a short vita or bio which explains your expertise/education/publication relevant to this volume. Please indicate your familiarity or facility with Spanish.
