This panel aims to discuss how contemporary global Anglophone/multilingual writers are dismantling the hegemony of lingua franca and making marginalized tongues visible and unheard stories heard.  Topics may address, but not limited to: 1. Multilingual writings of postcolony2. Translation and politics of lingua franca3. Language and trauma4. Linguistic identity in global Anglophone literature.5.
