Call for thematic issues for Film Journal
Film Journal invites submissions for thematic issues to be published in 2026, 2027, 2028. We are looking for thematic issues that offer new perspectives on film history, theory, narrative and aesthetics. We also welcome individual articles and book reviews.Film Journal is an open access peer-reviewed academic journal on OpenEdition (https://journals.openedition.org/filmj/) founded by SERCIA (Society for Study and Research in Anglophone Cinema), an international organisation established in France in 1993 to promote the study and teaching of Anglophone cinema (www.sercia.net).To submit a thematic issue, please send a proposal to cristelle.maury@univ-tlse2.fr with the names, affiliations and a short biblio-bio of the editors.
