The Fall 2024 issue of Waves: an Undergraduate Journal The University of Florida Writing Program's undergraduate journal, Waves, invites undergraduates to submit their work for consideration in our fall 2024 issue. We welcome submissions from any discipline, but the journal emphasizes projects that have a humanistic or social dimension. Waves accepts research-based works, fiction, poetry, comics, digital projects (e.g., photo or video essays, podcasts, and archival projects), photography, visual art, and community-engaged projects.  Submissions received by Monday, October 21 will be considered for the Fall 2024 issue, but submissions are welcome at any time and are reviewed on a rolling basis.  To be considered for publication in Waves, please send your project and accompanying writer’s memo in a single .docx file to waves.uj@gmail.com. Alternative media projects such as podcasts and video essays can be sent in a suitable format for your project (e.g., .mp3 or .mp4 files, YouTube links, etc.).
