Six Days' ICSSR sponsored Skill Development Workshop titled, "Threads of Silver: Craft Making of Rūpa Tārakasi [Silver Filigree]"
Sri Sri Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies (SSCTIS), and the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha, in association with Sikshasandhan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, are going to organise a Six Days' ICSSR sponsored Skill Development Workshop titled, "Threads of Silver: Craft Making of Rūpa Tārakasi [Silver Filigree]" as part of the ICSSR Vision VikshitBharat@2047 research project on Documenting Rūpa Tārakasi. The workshop will be conducted in a hybrid format, encompassing both online and offline participants, and the duration of the workshop is six days, from 7th to 12th November 2024. This ICSSR-sponsored workshop will function towards promoting and appreciating silver filigree craft-making skills, ensuring the imparting of the knowledge to future generations. The last date to apply is 5th November 2024 and it is open to participants from all academic and technical backgrounds. The registration fee is Rs. 600/- [incl. GST] which includes a workshop kit, instructional materials, lunch and a certificate.
