  • 2023 Issue: Literature and Environment
  • 2024 Issue: Literature and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We seek contributions that engage deeply with these topics, exploring intersections between literature and evolving global discourses.

2023 Issue: Literature and Environment

This issue will delve into the relationship between literary texts and environmental concerns, encouraging discussions on:

  • Ecocriticism and the Anthropocene.
  • Representations of climate change, sustainability, and conservation in literature.
  • Nature writing and its cultural significance.
  • Postcolonial perspectives on ecological crises.
  • Indigenous narratives and environmental justice.

2024 Issue: Literature and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

This issue aims to examine how literature intersects with and reflects upon the advent of AI, covering topics such as:

  • Representations of AI and robotics in literature.
  • Ethical and philosophical implications of AI in narratives.
  • Literature’s role in shaping societal understandings of AI.
  • Speculative fiction and the future of human-machine interactions.
  • The impact of AI on the process and perception of literary creation.

Submission Guidelines

  • Article Types: Original research articles, essays, and book reviews.
  • Word Limit: 4,000–6,000 words for articles; 1,000–1,500 words for reviews.
  • Formatting: Submissions must follow the latest edition of MLA style.
  • Deadline for Submission: February 15, 2025.
  • No Processing or Publication Fee

Peer Review Process

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will be notified of the acceptance status within 8–10 weeks of submission.
