Digital Studies in Language and Literature (DSLL), a new Open-Access journal co-launched by De Gruyter and Chongqing University, cordially invites submissions for its 2025 Issue 1.
DSLL is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary publication committed to promoting research at the intersection of digital technology, language, and literature. Aims and Scope
We offer a platform for scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners to explore and share their insights in language and literature involving digital technology. The scope includes empirical studies, review articles (such as meta - analysis and narrative synthesis), case studies, theoretical articles, and research method studies. We welcome studies conducted using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods, text - or learning - based studies, those investigating technological tools, and those observing events or examining phenomena relationships.
We strongly encourage interdisciplinary research that links digital technology, language, and literature. Also, we look forward to insightful discussions on the challenges and opportunities brought by the digital era in linguistic and literary studies. The journal particularly values research that employs innovative methods, generates transformative evidence, informs practice and policy - making, and takes unique perspectives. In addition to traditional academic topics, we are interested in expanding the conversation to cover populations, regions, settings, and subjects that have been overlooked or underrepresented in mainstream academic work.
